There lived five brothers in the village of Hamton. Joey, Scott, Luke, Dominic, and Toby all liked the village green the best.
They liked how, in the summer there would be cricket and a fair.
In the village, there was a post office, where the post mistress would daily open the shop and lay out the newspapers on the shelf.
Joey, asked Luke, one day, "Why is the postbox in the post office gold? Aren't post boxes meant to be red?"
Luke said to Joey, "Oh yes, that's the Kings idea. To celebrate great gold medal winning olympians, in their home town. Not every town has a gold post box.
Hamton has one for Bob Fry, the greatest ski jumper, of our time.
"That's really great idea, isn't it. So we can remember their gold medal, and it makes the whole village proud. "
"Do you think I can be a Gold Medal Olympian, Luke?", Joey asked?
You can do it, Yes. If Bob Fry can be a ski jumper, I think you can be a great Olympian. You need determination, lots of practice and a good coach.
We have brothers, so we can be your coaches, Joey. Each one of us can coach you on a different thing. " Luke said.
"Hey Luke, maybe one day, we will have two Gold Post boxes in Hamton, one for Bob Fry, and one for me!
I hope so, lets go play cricket, I see the others coming to the green.
